Description
Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a rapidly expanding organisation based in South Lanarkshire to recruit a Management Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit a Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) candidate looking to take the next step into a Management Accountant role and join a high-performing team. Study support and a wide range of benefits including ongoing support and access to courses and further training opportunities. 

Key responsibilities:
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts in a timely manner to meet monthly reporting timetable deadlines.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders to support Commercial decisions and provide additional support to the wider business.
  • Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation and posting of prepayments, accruals and other monthly journals
  • Verification of CIS suppliers and monthly submissions
  • Monthly VAT returns
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Adhere to Group Policies and Processes within the department with an eye for process improvement
Main requirements:
  • Part Qualified/Qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant
  • Management accounts experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Team player
