Description
Jenson Fisher have been engaged, by a rapidly expanding company based in Glasgow City Centre who are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This role will suit an experienced AP candidate who is looking to work in an interesting and varied role with a great company and team environment.  This is an office based role. The hours of work are: Monday to Thursday - 8am to 4.30pm & Fridays 8am to 3pm.

The main duties:
  • Perform the purchase to pay process – matching, processing and paying invoices
  • Reviewing and processing expense claims 
  • Managing the AP Mailbox – work through emails, responding to queries
  • Weekly Payment Runs
  • Processing payments in various currencies
  • Reviewing and processing credit card claims
  • Supplier Statement reconciliations
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies  
  • Month end tasks
  • Weekly system reconciliations
The main requirements:
  • Previous accounts payable experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Good systems experience, including Excel
  • Team player
