Description

Jenson Fisher, have been engaged by a growing organisation based in Clackmannanshire to recruit a Payroll Supervisor on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit an experienced Payroll candidate who wants to progress their career and move into a Supervisory/Management role. This is a full-time permanent role, however, the client will consider a part-time candidate (4 days as well).

The main duties:

Manage and lead a small team of 2 payroll Administrators
Process end-to-end payroll for monthly, weekly, commissioned staff
Meet all submission deadlines
Ensure RTI, AE pension, tax & NI regulations are adhered to
A proactive approach to identifying the detail and impact of new legislation on payroll
Develop systems to enhance the efficiency/take advantage of opportunities for the payroll function
Adherence to processes, procedure and controls
Dealing with queries
Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams

The main requirements:

Strong payroll and up to date statutory knowledge
Previous experience of managing a payroll department
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient user of payroll systems and Excel
A confidence to challenge assumptions and offer solutions
A can-do attitude
Efficient, methodical, detailed, a good time manager
