Description

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be recruiting a full-time permanent Accounts Senior based in South Lanarkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accountant to join a friendly Firm with an outstanding reputation. This role offers excellent career progression and the chance to work for a leading Practice in a varied and interesting role with a great team.

The main duties:

The role involves managing a varied portfolio of clients
Being responsible for all aspects of client service including year-end accounts, management accounts
VAT Returns,
Corporation and personal tax
Supervise work of other staff members
Responsible for training and developing staff members
Working closely with the management team to organise and plan the workflow and other day to day operations

The main requirements:

Previous Accounts experience within an Accountancy Practice is essential
Great tax knowledge
Knowledge of software systems ideally Digita and cloud based systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Xero, sage & Iris would be preferred
Good team player
