- Jenson Fisher are delighted to partner with our client, a leading business in Glasgow, to recruit a skilled and dedicated Payroll Assistant on a permanent, full time basis. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to support payroll operations, contribute to process improvements, and work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As a key member of this broad payroll team, the Payroll Assistant will play an essential role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of employee payroll. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of payroll systems and statutory compliance, who is eager to provide exceptional support and maintain a high standard of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:- Payroll Processing: Support the processing of the full payroll cycle for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Statutory Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory regulations, including PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and other legislative requirements.
- Query Resolution: Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders in a professional and timely manner, providing accurate advice and solutions.
- System Support: Contribute to reviewing and improving payroll systems, streamlining processes, and driving efficiency.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, ensuring data security and compliance with GDPR regulations.
- Reporting Assistance: Help prepare payroll-related reports for management, including summaries of costs, variances, and other key metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth integration of payroll processes with other business functions.
