Description
Jenson Fisher are delighted to be partnering on an exclusive basis with our established client based in Cumbernauld to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to further their career in finance within a supportive and dynamic environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks encompassing the following key areas:
  • Processing invoices on a daily basis.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Managing payments and processing in accordance with payment terms.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth running of the company’s financial operations and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Handling supplier and customer queries and assisting with VAT returns.
As the ideal candidate you will have prior experience in a similar accounts role, strong numerical and IT skills, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software such as Sage or Xero is highly desirable.
