Known for their collaborative culture and commitment to excellence, our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their finance team and support continued business growth.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will play a key role in providing insightful financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the monthly reporting cycle and contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial processes.
Key responsibilities include:- Preparing monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Supporting month-end and year-end close procedures
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations
- Providing commentary and analysis to highlight financial trends
- Working closely with operational teams to monitor performance and costs
- Supporting audit preparation and compliance requirements
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a management accounting or similar finance role
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working across teams
